Merry Christmas - 2011

Christmas is finally here :)  Oh haven't we all done well waiting for it all year long?! ;)  My wonderful friend Mandie from http://whisperingchristmasdreams.blogspot.com/ sent me another lovely Christmas box this year. There were MANY generous gifts inside.  I have used some in our decorations and will upload a post later on to show you the rest of the gifts.  Just thought to share photos of our decorations this year.

I wish you all from the bottom of my heart a very Merry Christmas wherever you are. May the Lord's Blessings be with you throughout the holiday season.

Merry Christmas to you & yours,

Lily, Hubby & Bump.

Photo of Baby

I thought I'll upload a scan photo of our baby boy.  This is him at 22 weeks. He is lying on his back, head on the right, facing up. You can also see the arms and the heart. His legs are on the right but are nor clear in this photo.  Can't wait to meet him in April.

Are you all ready for the Holiday Season? Hubby & I exchanged cards last night, all the decorations are out & the mistletoe is  hung. I've one more shopping trip to the shops left to top up on supplies & get the turkey. I can't believe how quickly Christmas has come around this year.

Hope you ll are enjoying the run up to Christmas.  I wish you a very Blessed Holiday Season.

Merry Christmas,

Lily.

Baby Boy

Hi all. We now know that we are having a baby boy :) My lovely hubby surprised me baby boy balloons. We are so excited and are thinking of names, also have bought a couple of little baby boy outfits. Everything seems to be going ok so far and we feel very blessed.  Just wanted to share our happy news with you all. Not long now until Christmas, I can hardly believe how quickly it has come around. Hope you all are having a nice week.

Merry Christmas to you & yours :)

Beginning of Advent

I would like to welcome the new followers :) Thank you for joining.

Today is the first day of advent.  Have you started eating the little chocolate yet? Or like us do you have a little surprise everyday to decorate with? I love our little Santa Advent Calendar, we bought it from costco a year ago. What are your advent traditions?
It seems that the countdown to Christmas is official although I must admit I start the countdown quite sometime ago, lol!

Hope you are all having a great week,

Lily

Christmas Trees at the Garden Centre

I would like to wish you all a belated Happy Thanksgiving (those of you who celebrated it last week). Hope you all had a lovely time.

I went to our local garden centre & really enjoyed their decorations so much that had to share some photos with you all. I thought they were much better than last years. They seem to have used a lot of ribbon in the trees, which I believe is popular in the U.S, but not over here so it is really refreshing to see. I thought they were beautiful.

The decorating of our house is finally coming to an end, hopefully the carpets will be all done by the end of the week & I will be able to put out our Christmas decorations. I can't wait. I'm also hoping to make a new wreath if I get some free time. Hope you all are having a great week.

These upside down trees have lately become very popular for those  with very limited space in their homes.

I loved his smile & "Believe"

An alternative tree! Not sure where you would store it the erst of the year though.
