Santa Clause films

Some of my favourite Christmas films of all time are the Santa Clause films with Tim Allen.  I am a big fan of Disney & I believe they gave the beloved character of Santa a really great image.  I get lost in the magic of the films and could easily watch all 3 films one after the other (time allowing that is)!

I have shared the 2 photos at the bottom as my mum is knitting that maternity cardigan that Mrs Clause wears for me :) I am so happy. First I wanted to purchase it, looked all over the internet but couldn't find it so asked mum to knit it for me.  Bless her, she immediately said yes. We went to the local market together and bought wool & I decided that I wanted little changes.  I wanted it to be navy and no hood at the back as I have a few nice hats to wear with it.  Also the flowers on the pockets are a bit different.  It is almost finished and my tummy is showing now so I'll be able to share a photo with you all soon, so very exciting.

All the photos are thanks to Google Images. I'll be stopping by at http://yuletideseasonings.blogspot.com/ this Sunday, hope to see you there too.

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend.

Singing Santa, Christmas Decoratoin

Hubby & I have decided that this year we would try & not buy too many new Christmas or Halloween decorations as we want to save storage room for when our little one arrives, BUT, I couldn't help myself when I saw this gorgeous singing Santa Clause that comes out of the chimney.  It is sold through Avon and was £10, how would you say no to that?! Also the other day I went to T.K.Maxx which I believe is same as T.J.Maxx in the united states & saw this really lovely Santa sleigh. I want to fill it up with little presents and possibly display a Santa next to it too but for now I just had to share it with you all.  I have made a little video of the singing Santa Clause that I have shared below, you can also find it on my youtube channel.  I know the sound on it isn't great but hope you still like it.  If you have never been to my youtube channel but would like to you can access it by clicking HERE

Hope you all are having a really great weekend.

I tried to get the Santa sack in the video but I thought I'll share a photo too.

Autumn decorations

I would like to thank you all for your well wishes, messages and comments.  I really appreciate them and every single one of them puts a great big smile on my face.  I also really love that some of you emailed me or came back later to leave a comment as there were problems on blogger last week, you are all so very kind.  I also would like to welcome the new followers.

By the way the nursery's painting is almost done & for those of you who had asked, we went for "pale citrus" which basically is light yellow.

I have put out some of the Autumn/Halloween decorations out. Autumn has definitely arrived here with temperatures varying from 12C to 16C and dark clouds and rain most days. It makes you want to get a cosy jumper on, get a warm cup of cocoa and carve a pumpkin. I'm not having any caffeine at all at the moment so it's been decaf tea and hot cocoa since August but now that the weather is much cooler it feels right, lol.

Have you all started your Christmas planning yet? I met a lady at the supermarket the other day who really amazed me. She said that she has already purchased AND gift wrapped all of her gifts, she has bought her cards and started writing them plus she is buying all of her food that can be kept until then like nuts, crisps and etc.  The only things she needs to do is buy a turkey and put up her tree. Can you believe that???! I had never met anyone so organised, bless her. So far, I have made some handmade Christmas cards but that's about it, lol.

Hope you all are having a great week.

Ellen's alternative Santas!

Did you ever watch this episode of Ellen with musical chairs and Santas?! It is so very funny & very touching at the end. I wanted to link up with my sweet friend's (Maureen) Sunday with Santa and thought I'll upload a new Santa post rather than link up an older post. I look forward to linking up every Sunday on http://yuletideseasonings.blogspot.com/. I also really liked it when Ellen and Britney Spears went caroling so have uploaded an image of that too. The above photo is with thanks to google images.

As you know we have our baby scan tomorrow and so am getting excited about babies and Christmas :) Plus hubby has the day off tomorrow and so that is very nice. We chose a lovely a pale shade of yellow for the nursery today and will painting this week.

Hope you all are having a great weekend and hope you enjoy the video :)
