Canterbury Holiday

My hubby and I went away for long weekend to Canterbury for his 30th birthday and I have been meaning to share photos of this beautiful city with you.  It is such a lovely place to visit & we both had a really great time.

Canterbury is a historic English city & it is very close to France. It is known for it's Cathedral, Roman City Wall and river.  It is considered "the garden of England", spring always arrives there a little earlier than anywhere else. If you would like to know more about the city then please click HERE.

Also I took a little video of the Cathedral Quarters & uploaded it to my youtube channel, if you would like to watch it, please click here.

Since there are a lot of photos, I'll upload more in the next few days :)

I hope you like them,

Merry Christmas in April,

Lily

This is not a fault with the camera, This house actually looks like that. It has looked like that for many many decades as it is so old and of course it is protected. Not sure if people still live in it but it is gorgeous. Looked at it for a very long time.

  2. These are great photos Lily! I am glad you both had a great time. The cathedral is so beautiful and I love the telephone booth! Spring is in full swing today here. The day will be in the 70's and the wasps are out strong, lol. Have a great weekend!
