Easter Wreath

My in-laws are are coming to stay with us over the Easter holidays and I decided to give the house a festive look. Although I didn't need any excuses really ;) The weather has been gorgeous lately so we're planning a BBQ and a roast dinner since we are having a long weekend.

I made a wreath and put a few Easter ornaments and snow globes around the house.  So thought I'll share the photos with you.

Hope you all have a very lovely Easter however you spent it & enjoy whatever you have given up for lent. Do you have any particular Easter traditions?

Happy Easter,

Lily

I used a foam wreath rather than a twig one. I found the twig wreath to be a little difficult to decorate when I  made the harvest wreath!

I also used some ribbon, eggs, feathers and craft wire.

I first added some ribbon but left gaps so I can use the craft wire.

I added craft wire to the eggs and added them to the wreath.

Then added the feathers and little eggs and then the ribbon.

Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday was mothering Sunday & so hubby & I took out my mum for a meal in a lovely place in the countryside.  We had such a lovely time.  Everywhere I've been to these days there are mother's day signs & so I decided to share some photos with you.

When do you celebrate Mother's day in your country?

If you are a mother, then Happy Mother's Day to you  : )

Canterbury Holiday

My hubby and I went away for long weekend to Canterbury for his 30th birthday and I have been meaning to share photos of this beautiful city with you.  It is such a lovely place to visit & we both had a really great time.

Canterbury is a historic English city & it is very close to France. It is known for it's Cathedral, Roman City Wall and river.  It is considered "the garden of England", spring always arrives there a little earlier than anywhere else. If you would like to know more about the city then please click HERE.

Also I took a little video of the Cathedral Quarters & uploaded it to my youtube channel, if you would like to watch it, please click here.

Since there are a lot of photos, I'll upload more in the next few days :)

I hope you like them,

Merry Christmas in April,

Lily

This is not a fault with the camera, This house actually looks like that. It has looked like that for many many decades as it is so old and of course it is protected. Not sure if people still live in it but it is gorgeous. Looked at it for a very long time.
